Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa’s secret project is not so secret anymore!
Miley Cyrus set the Internet on fire by dropping a teaser of ‘Prisoners’ on her Instagram handle yesterday. Along with a teaser, she wrote a caption- “PRISONER FEAT @DUALIPA TOMORROW 11/19.” She is grabbing the attention of her fans by dropping pictures related to her new song every few hours. She also posted a picture with Dua lipa and captioned it, “PRISONER FEAT @DUALIPA DROPPING AT 7 PM ET… off my new record Plastic hearts out November 27th”
The new music video has a vintage rock ‘n’ roll theme. Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa ooze 80s retro vibes along with a shaggy bus, a gig in an underground club, maraschino cherry syrup, fake blood, torn fishnet tights. ‘When I look at You’ singer is seen wearing a white crop top, a sultry black bralette, and mini black leather shorts along with ripped fishnet tights. She also stacked a couple of necklaces to add an edge to her outfit. While Dua is seen donning an all-black ensemble.
“Prisoner” is the second official single from Miley Cyrus’ album ‘Plastic Hearts’ which will be out on November 27th. The first single was ‘Midnight Sky’ along with Stevie Nicks. The new music video also has a very realistic message at the end, “In Loving memory of all my exes. Eat sh**.”

In an interview with Zane Lowe, ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer was asked about her experience of working with Dua Lipa and she answered “Some people’s charisma is really overwhelming. I see when Dua’s around, that her charisma — there’s no sense of desperation to it, like, ‘I’ve got to be the best because if I’m not what if…’ There’s a calmness to her success, which I really like.”
Dua Lipa was also asked about working with Miley and her answer too was exceptional. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she said, “I love her. She’s really, really fun and her energy is unmatched. We had a blast shooting this music video. It’s fun, it’s playful. I feel like it’s the perfect combination of the two of us.”
