Nick Jonas is all ready to host SNL on February 27. The 28-year-old singer doesn’t have just one but two surprises for us. He will also be performing his latest single ‘Spaceman’ on the show.
This will be Nick’s hosting debut and second solo musical guest appearance on SNL.
Nick Jonas expressed all his excitement while sharing the news with his followers. He wrote, “A dream come true. Let’s get it @nbcsnl!! See you February 27th!,” when announcing his SNL stint.
Nick Jonas‘s performance of his latest single ‘Spaceman’ will also be a part of the show. ‘Spaceman’ is Nick’s first solo single since his 2018 hit ‘Right Now.’ In 2019, he released the album Happiness Begins with his brothers, The Jonas Brothers.
On Friday, Nick teased the music video for ‘Spaceman’ with a clip of himself in an astronaut suit and being filmed as he gets swept away.
Nick Jonas has been keeping himself quite busy these days with many projects under his hat. He will also be making a return to the upcoming season 20 of The Voice, which will premiere on March 1.
“Warriors never sleep,” Nick tweeted on Tuesday. “I’m back and ready to win this thing.” He will be joining co-coaches John Legend, Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson.
The Voice made the announcement by sharing that Nick Jonas is not a “newbie” anymore with the singer’s second season of the show. In a glimpse of what’s coming on the show, Nick Jonas and Blake Shelton could be seen involved in friendly banter.
Earlier, Nick took to his Instagram stories to share a sneak peek of his “workday” at The Voice.
Nick Jonas made his debut as a coach in Season 18, which aired in the spring of 2020. He will replace Gwen Stefani, who is a coach on the current season.
Nick is also set to appear in Chaos Walking alongside Daisy Ridley and Tom Holland, scheduled for a release on March 5. He would also be starring in an action thriller called “The Blacksmith” with Laurence Fishburne.
