Olivia Jade Giannulli Is Finally Getting Her Second Chance In DWTS

Working for it!

Olivia Jade will be seen competing in a dance competition, ‘DWTS,’ this season

Lori Loughlin’s daughter Olivia Jade Giannulli is appearing this year as a contestant on the Tv Show “Dancing With the Stars” aka DWTS season 30. The celebrity contestants were announced by the show earlier this month and also includes Mel C from the Spice Girls and the “Bachelor” fame Matt James among others. In a recent interview with People, the young social media influencer has spread some light on her rehearsal journey for the show till now. “I would not consider myself a dancer by any means, but it’s so much more work than you really anticipate with the dedication and the patience you have to have with yourself,” she said.

However, Olivia Jade also agrees that the pros of being a contestant in a show like DWTS are all worth it.

“The pros make it look so effortless and easy, but once you get in there and they’re really teaching you the steps, it’s way harder than I ever thought. But what I will say is the pros do such a good job,” she added. She further added that she “just starting to see a few muscles show up in my back that definitely wasn’t there before.” Well, that is enough to tell us that the work is hard and this 21-year-old Youtuber is doing it well.

Olivia Jade Giannulli is the daughter of the “Full House” star Lori Loughlin and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli.

The couple has finished their time in prison this year after pleading guilty in the college admissions scandal. In 2019, Lori and Mossimo were caught involved in paying a bribe worth $500,000 so that their two daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose, could be crew team recruits for the University of Southern California. However, these two girls never played any kind of sports.

Olivia’s parents were sentenced to two and five months of jail after pleading guilty and also charged a combined $400,000 in fees. Many people later claimed that the couple got an easy way out in a scandal that also involved Felicity Huffman just because they have money. However, according to their young daughter, people don’t see the other side of the story. During a 2020 interview on Jada Pinkett Smith’s talk show ‘Red Table Talk’, Olivia Jade said, “I think that what hasn’t been super public is that there is no justifying or excusing what happened. Because what happened was wrong.” She continued, “I’m 21. I feel like I deserve a second chance to redeem myself, to show I’ve grown.”

Well looks like Olivia Jade’s participation in DWTS season 30 among other big stars is her second chance to get back her identity and show the world that she can make something of herself as well. However, the journey is still not easy for this young influencer. Her involvement in “Dancing With the Stars” has been called ‘white privilege’ by some people over the internet. But looks like Jade is working hard on her skills and it will be exciting to see her compete with other contestants.
