Orlando Bloom is melting our hearts with an adorable picture with fiancé Katy Perry and son Flynn. It’s been a week since Father’s day, but the actor is still keeping up the spirit.
On Saturday, The 44-year-old actor took to Instagram to share an adorable and rare family moment with his followers. The snap showed him holding hands with fiancé Katy Perry and son Flynn, who he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr. The couple were married for three years until they split in 2013. However, they remain good friends and co-parent their son Flynn Christopher together.
“FAMILY LOVE [heart emoji],” he captioned the post, writing the word “love” vertically.
The photo showed the three family members enjoying a leisurely stroll through a park.
Orlando Bloom opted a casual white T-shirt and khaki bottoms while Katy fashioned a pink jumpsuit complemented by a black bumbag, a floral crochet bucket hat, and white sneakers.
However, one tiny member of the family was missing from the picture – Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s daughter Daisy Dove Bloom.
Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry welcomed Daisy in August 2020.
Just last week, Katy Perry shared a throwback for Father’s Day filmed before the two welcomed their first baby together. In the clip, Orlando is playing soothing music in the hospital as the couple prepare for the arrival of their daughter.
Alongside the video, the 36-year-old Dark Horse hitmaker praised her fiancé writing: ‘Happy first Father’s Day to the healer of my heart and the giver of my greatest gift … I love you WHOLE world.’
“Ready to bring her in, baby,” the Pirates of The Carribean star says in the video, just after singing along to a recorded chanting.
The same day Orlando posted a Father’s Day tribute to his Instagram, but without a picture of his children. “A shout out to all the dads and father figures today.” Adding that he’s been reflecting “on what fatherhood has meant for me, especially after becoming a father for the second time.”
Speaking to Sunday Times, the actor had shared how he has been keeping up with fatherhood.
“I wake up at around 6.30. I have a smart ring sleep tracker and the first thing I do is look at the app to see if I’ve had a good sleep and check my readiness for the day,” Bloom detailed. “Then I check on my daughter, who’s usually up and cooing in her cot. My fiancee needs her sleep, so I try to let her have a lie-in.”
“Daisy’s a very happy baby. I’ll kiss her and we’ll spend some time connecting. I’ll do eye-gazing with her and sing songs, ‘Daddy loves his Daisy Dove’, so she knows who Daddy is. My son’s first word was ‘Mama’, but Daisy said ‘Dadda’. It’s amazing to be a father again. There’s less anxiety this time and more presence,” he further detailed. “I’m a Capricorn, so I crave routine. Fortunately my partner is really into that too. “
