The James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan will take on the role of Dr. Fate, in the upcoming DC movie ‘Black Adam’. The 67-year-old actor will play the role of the original Dr. Fate, who gains power when he wears the Helmet of Fate. Dr. Fate and his friends make up a society called the Justice Society of America. Hence they become the founding members.
Who are the star characters of Black Adam?
Pierce Brosnan is the last chosen actor of the Justice Society of America in Black Adam. And the other cast members include Noah Centineo playing Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell playing Cyclone, and Aldis Hodge playing Hawkman. The movie is the second in the new line of DC movies following its predecessor and super hit Shazam! Marwan Kenzari, who plays Jafar in Aladdin, is appearing in this movie for a secret role.
In the DC Universe, Shazam and Black Adam are arch-enemies. Recently Dwayne ‘the rock’ Johnson, who will play Black Adam, posted a clip of the Black Adam script. He wrote, “Well, I’d love to wear a rainbow every day. And tell the world that everything’s okay. But I’ll try to carry off a little darkness on my back. Till things are brighter..”. But this isn’t the first time Johnson teased about his appearance in the movie. Last August he wrote on Twitter, “You’ve waited long enough, As have I, thousands of years to be exact. The hierarchy of power in the DC UNIVERSE is about to change. The man in black comes to crush them all”.
