Rege-Jean Page’s hosting debut on SNL started with some beautiful saxophone tunes and the actor introducing himself saying: “My name is Rege- Jean Page and you can call me Rege- Jean Page (Of course Your Grace!).”

The star’s voice almost got drowned by the thunderous applause from the audience which is understandable as Rege-Jean Page’s SNL Debut was being eagerly anticipated by the fans all across the world.

The Bridgerton star continued his opening monologue saying- “You probably recognize me from Bridgerton, the show that made everyone turn to their moms and say, ‘You know what? Nevermind I don’t think we should watch this together.”

“It’s a bit of a racy show. And because of that, people may associate me being this smoldering, sensual smoke show. But I assure you, I’m just a regular guy,” Page said before another camera zoomed into his face and all of a sudden sporting smolderng gaze the actor continued: “I’m here to show you a good time and explore each other. Does that sound pleasing to you?”

Honestly the moment was Gold… Gold level Comedy!

The actor was then joined by cast members Aidy Bryant, Ego Nwodim and Chloe Fineman aka his ‘personal liaisons’ who couldn’t help but bow in front of the Duke of Hastings and this led the actor saying they don’t have to bow and they can relax because he is nothing like his character in Bridgerton, The Duke. This gets followed by the separate camera zooming in on Page (again!) and with the Jazzy number playing in the background, he holds up a glass, drinks from it saying: “Sorry I was quite parched!”
