Scarlett Johansson And Colin Jost recall their wedding on Saturday Night Show along with host Seth Meyers. The couple were seen together on the 12th episode of Saturday Night Live.
Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost got engaged in 2019 and got married after a year. It was Colin’s first wedding and the third for Scarlett. Scarlett was married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2010. She was also married to Romain Dauriac from 2014 to 2017 and shares a six-year-old daughter with Romain.
After three years of dating, Scarlett and Colin got married in October last year, at the peak of the pandemic. The Black Widow thinks that the marriage during that time was ‘a little stressful’.
Scarlett Johansson also stated that her husband is lucky to have his grandparents during the wedding. She also pointed out that at the wedding, many people from Colin’s side were in their 90’s.
“Colin … he’s very fortunate. His grandparents are still with him. There are several people in their 90s in his family. The Josts live forever and they were at our wedding.”
The Black Widow also said that they took all the precautions they could. During their wedding, they provided masks and took covid test of every guest. The covid testing wasn’t a big task for the couple, as half of the people at the wedding work with Colin Jost at NBC that requires the people to get tested for covid on regular basis.
“Obviously we wanted to take all the precautions that we could, so we had the masks … and everybody had to get COVID tests like 100,000 times,” said the actor on the show.
“I mean, it’s just weird,” she said while looking at the photos of everyone wearing masks during the wedding. “[The mask was] definitely a weird party favor that could only happen now,” Johansson joked, “but you just gotta go with it.”
Scarlett said that though it wasn’t a grand wedding, they were so happy to see people they hadn’t met in a long time. “Even though it was small and intimate, it was beautiful and we were so happy to see people that we hadn’t seen in such a long time. We just felt very fortunate to be able to get together like that. It felt like it was sort of how it was supposed to be, minus face masks,” Johansson continued.
