What does Sebastian Stan have to say about Pamela Anderson’s new Netflix documentary?

In an interview with Variety on Thursday at the premiere of his latest movie “Fresh”, the Marvel star opened up about being excited over Pamela Anderson’s latest announcement on the documentary. “I think it’s great,” he said. “I’m feeling grateful and hopeful that the show inspired further conversation and another deeper look that it deserves, so I look forward to seeing it,” he added.

The personnel behind the documentary and what it is all about

Pamela Anderson’s Netflix documentary comes in the wake of her life and the various trauma she went through. The 54-year-old celebrity took to her social media last Tuesday to announce the big news written on a note with the Netflix logo. The “Baywatch” star is finally ready to heal herself and find catharsis through this documentary.

Netflix themselves confirmed that this project was in the works for a very long time now and is finally getting the big release, in the latest press release. The Keepers’ Ryan White is directing the documentary while Brandon Thomas lee, one of Anderson’s sons whom she had with ex-husband Lee is co-producing it.

The backlash over “Pam & Tommy”

Pamela Anderson’s Netflix documentary announcement came one week before the finale of “Pam & Tommy” hit the screens. The show details the incident of Anderson’s intimate tape getting leaked in the 1990s and her relationship with the Motley Crue drummer. Sebastian Stan and Lily James take on the lead roles.

The show initially received backlash for “re-traumatizing” Anderson and “opening up old wounds”. According to a source for People, the show by unearthing “a very traumatic time” in her life “is re-exploiting Pamela.”

“After the tape was made public, it was a very traumatizing situation,” the source explained, “and it’s unfair that she is being re-subjected to this trauma, like re-opening a wound,” they added.

However, we believe that Pamela Anderson’s upcoming Netflix documentary may put a full stop to it all and give the actress a chance to finally tame the demons from her past. Even Sebastian Stan is quite hyped up for it, it seems. And needless to say, we can hardly wait for it to come out!
