Simon Cowell is recovering from his unfortunate bike accident that took place in August. The injury that broke his back has left Simon Cowell bedridden and things might stay the same for six more months.
According to Sun, America’s Got Talent and it’s British counterpart- Britain’s Got Talent’s hard-to-impress Judge and Producer, Simon Cowell is under really strong painkillers to ease his agony and needs around the clock care from a nurse. He also was not only unable to attend BGT’s finale but he also couldn’t record a video message for viewers. Though Simon has been positive about his injuries as he shared the reason behind his fall on his social media, where he stated-
“Some good advice… If you buy an electric trail bike, read the manual before you ride it for the first time. I have broken part of my back. Thank you to everyone for your kind messages. And a massive thank you to all the nurses and doctors. Some of the nicest people I have ever met. Stay safe everyone.”
How is Simon Cowell recovering?
Simon Cowell’s bedridden state also involves intense physiotherapy which began just two months after his back was broken. He is also now able to walk around in his garden and also does mobility drills in the swimming pool of his home in Malibu, California, where he has the support of his girlfriend, Lauren Silverman, and six-year-old son, Eric. “It’s been a rough few weeks,” stated a friend of his. “Simon’s a fighter and fairly gung-ho. Naturally, he thought he’d be out of action for a few weeks and then, if not doing iron man contests, at least be back on the showbiz circuit. His friend also stated that another bump on his road to recovery is his impatient temperament. “He’s on the mend and trying to be patient which is not something that comes terribly naturally to him.”
A huge accomplishment for Simon Cowell’s recovery has been that he is now able to climb a whopping 10,000 steps a day. His Britain’s Got Talent “He’s doing well. I keep in touch with Lauren every week. His will and determination to get himself better is inspiring.”
A source informed Page six, that “Simon’s having little or no visitors due to COVID, but he’s doing 10,000 steps a day and swimming regularly. It’s become a ongoing joke that Lauren has to run to keep up with him.”
