Russian Supermodel Irina Shayk talks about being a woman with a strong personality and moving on from her four-year relationship with Bradley Cooper, in a recent interview with British Vogue.
Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk appeared together on a red carpet, in 2015, and all the rumours about their relationship finally came to a rest. By being true.
Cut to 2020, life has been but a journey!
The couple publicly split in June 2019. This doesn’t mean that any bridges were burnt between the two global icons. They co-parent their daughter Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper.
In the interview, Irina throws more light on her relationship with her daughter.
“Being a working mother is tough.”
When asked about what it’s like being a supermodel and a mother, she reiterates that celebrities are only humans after all. She says that there are days when she wakes up and has no idea what she’s going to do and that her life is falling apart.
We think of them as superheroes, but they also have the same insecurities as us. What sometimes differs them is that they rise through it. And for someone as tough as Irina, who lost her father at the age of 14, nothing is challenging enough to put her down.
Life after Bradley has been new-ground!
Irina Shyak has never believed in sharing her personal life with the public, and has always maintained her distance from the media. But she did give us insight into what a relationship is according to her and how one should perceive these situations.
“I think in all good relationships you bring your best and your worst – it’s just the nature of a human being,” to drive it all home she adds, “Two great people don’t have to make a good couple.”
When asked about how life has been after the split she said, “I think we’ve been very lucky to experience what we had with each other,” she adds. “Life without B is new ground.”
Bradley Cooper and Irina, as per the reports, have amicably worked out the breakup. And from the looks of it, it has been one of the most mature and friendly splits in recent memory.
