The Gray Man First Footage Features Ryan Gosling And Chris Evans

The Russo brothers have returned to telling non-superhero stories!

The Gray Man’s debut trailer features Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans in the Russo brothers’ latest Netflix action film.

The Russo brothers have returned to telling non-superhero stories after delivering back-to-back major smashes with Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Cherry, starring Tom Holland, will be released in 2021, and development on The Gray Man, a new assassin thriller starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans, will begin in 2022.

For a few years, Hollywood has toyed with the notion of making a film adaptation of Mark Greaney’s novel, with Brad Pitt attached to star before Charlize Theron worked on a gender-swapped version. Since 2014, the Russo brothers have been linked to a film adaptation, but it wasn’t until 2020 that it came together, with Gosling and Evans agreeing to star and the film being released on Netflix.

Court Gentry, played by Ryan Gosling, is an assassin and former CIA operative who is being tracked down by Lloyd Hansen, played by Chris Evans in The Gray Man.

The film is undoubtedly one of Netflix’s most eagerly anticipated original films for 2022 and the streaming service has now released the first trailer for the Gosling and Evans-led action film. A Netflix teaser trailer includes footage from 28 upcoming original movies, including the first look at The Gray Man. Gentry, played by Ryan Gosling, appears several times in the video, both in genuine footage from the film and in footage shot particularly for this ad. Evans’ Hansen is also briefly seen in the first clip from The Gray Man.

The Gray Man footage is utilised sparingly in this video because it isn’t a trailer for the film.

Despite the fact that the Russos and Evans have a long working connection, the focus of this story and footage is on Gosling. His presence in the battle scenes is also only hinted at, despite the fact that the fight atop a train appears to be one of The Gray Man’s most memorable sequences. Additionally, the clip contains a brief glimpse of Evans, who appears to be having a good time portraying a more sinister role, as well as the first look at Ana de Armas and Regé-Jean Page’s respective characters.

Although there isn’t a lot of The Gray Man footage in the video, it does get a significant amount of attention, comparable to some of Netflix’s other highly awaited 2022 films. It has all the makings of being one of their biggest pictures of the year, assuming a complete The Gray Man teaser reveals everything it has in store for audiences. With The Gray Man set to premiere on Netflix this summer, fans can’t wait to see a real teaser.
