For the next Marvel sequel Thor: Love and Thunder, Chris Hemsworth revealed how he got his huge arms.

Chris Hemsworth shared a new training video on Instagram, showcasing his gruelling workout, which he describes as “the most uncomfortable” he’s ever done. Hemsworth is seen completing a variety of activities in the 8-minute clip, including weightlifting and rope work. The actor can be heard grunting and sarcastically complaining throughout the clip, before finally displaying his huge biceps at the end.

In his fourth solo movie, Chris Hemsworth is set to reprise his role as the God of Thunder.

Taika Waititi, who directed Ragnarok, will direct Love and Thunder, which will bring together a bevvy of MCU characters that Thor has met over the course of his career. Natalie Portman will reprise her role as Jane Foster, with the film following her transformation into Mighty Thor. Tessa Thompson will reprise her role as Valkyrie, and the majority of the Guardians of the Galaxy will appear. Christian Bale will play Gorr the God Butcher, the film’s antagonist, while Matt Damon will reprise his role as Fake Loki.

Chris Hemsworth has previously demonstrated his training, and his strength has astounded even his Love and Thunder co-star Portman. Thor will undoubtedly be in a different place when the upcoming movie is out. The God of Thunder was last seen in Avengers: Endgame, distraught by his inability to undo Thanos’ snap. As a result, he turned to alcohol and lost his famous figure.

Luke Zocchi, who just trained Chris Hemsworth for his role in Thor: Love and Thunder, told Insider that diet is crucial, and that people shouldn’t rely on supplements and shakes. “Eating good food and having a calorie surplus are more important. People think things like protein shakes and creatine make a big difference, but that’s only about 5% of the equation,” he said.

Creatine, BCAAs, and similar supplements, he noted, only provide you an advantage if you’ve been eating well and exercising regularly. He went on to say that protein shakes are only meant to augment nutrients that are already present in complete foods.

“It’s dialing in the basics and sticking to the program to get results,” Zocchi added.

Zocchi also stressed that everyone is unique, so comparing oneself to Hemsworth isn’t a good idea.

“Everyone’s body is different. I do the same workouts as Chris and eat the same, and I don’t look like him,” he said.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be released on May 6, 2022.
