Tom Cruise is probably the most liked actor in all of Hollywood and Rosie O’Donnell has enough proof of that, as the star still wishes the comedian on her Birthday.
The Upcoming “Mission Impossible 7” star Tom Cruise is known for dedicating all for his craft of acting and while, yes, he did get angry at the crew members of the flick, his friend Rosie O’Donnell considers Tom as her dearest.
In an interview on the “The Jess Cagle Show”, Rosie stated that, “He is the only person who never misses my birthday,” and also added, “In knowing him for 25 years now, he has never missed my birthday or an event in my life.”
How do Tom Cruise and Rose O’Donnell know eachother?
At the peak of her career, the 59-year-old was known for her show, “The Rosie O’Donnell Show”. The show aired from 1996 to 2002 and the Golden Globe protestor was almost a regular guest on the show.
Since then Tom has become one of Hollywood’s biggest actors but even after such success he has never forgotten his friend, Rosie, especially on her birthdays.
“Every year, I think what a classy guy he is that he never has forgotten my birthday,” she continued. “A lot of people say to me, ‘It’s just his secretary,’ but I don’t believe that. I think he knows in early March, ‘Oh, it’s Rosie’s birthday coming up.’ And he sends me something every single year for 25 years.”
Rosie also talked about the controversial beliefs of the actor. The comedian admitted that she loves him for who he is and does not mind Tom Cruise’s personal beliefs.
“I don’t have his home phone number,” she explained. “Like, I know people think in Hollywood and celebrity, everybody knows each other, but I know him in the way that I did in that time 25 years ago. … I love Tom Cruise and I will always love Tom Cruise. I do not understand, you know, the Scientology religion. I think it’s a cult and it’s scary. And I think Leah Remini is a hero for doing what she’s done.”
