Tom Holland is all set to appear in Apple TVs Crowded Room. The anthology series is being created by Akiva Goldsman and will feature 10 episodes for the first season. It has been described as “a gripping anthology series that will explore the true and inspirational stories of those who have struggled, and learned to successfully live with, mental illness.”
Tom Holland will play the lead in Crowded Room and tell the real-life story of Billy Milligan. He was the first man to be acquitted of a crime due to what’s now known as Dissociative Identity Disorder (earlier known as Multiple Personality Disorder). The series is being based on the biography The Minds of Billy Milligan by Daniel Keyes. Billy has committed some crimes that were done by his other personalities which he had no clue about. The Dissociative Identity Disorder will require Holland to expand his acting horizon more in Crowded Room.
