From the upcoming Spider Man sequel to the roles he would like to play in the future, Tom Holland talked about it all in his recent interview with Variety. Here are some of the best snippets from his chat.
Will Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield appear in Spider Man 3? Tom Holland answers
Tom Holland may be young and fairly new in the movies, but the actor knows how to skillfully dodge a question.
When asked if Tobey Maquire or Andrew Garfield, both of whom have played Spider Man previously, will appear in the next installment of the franchise, the British actor went on about how he totally admires the two.
“I met Andrew once, I met him at the BAFTAs. He was lovely. He was a really nice bloke and we had a nice chat. It was quite soon after Spider-Man: Homecoming had come out. He was really positive and nice,” the Cherry actor recalled.
He further added that he “bumped into Tobey a few times at different parties in L.A.”
“If they are, they haven’t told me yet,” he finally said, playing coy.
While he didn’t divulge details about the possible cameos or the plot, Holland called the yet untitled Spider Man flick “the most ambitious standalone superhero movie ever made.”
“We got a lot more shooting to do. We started before Christmas and shot for like seven weeks. We stopped for the Christmas break, and then we’re starting again. I’m just as excited as everyone else to see it, let alone be a part of it,” he added.
Here’s the role Tom Holland is eyeing
In his interview, Tom Holland revealed the one role he would love to play in future.
“I’ve got two roles coming up that I’m playing in the next few years that I’m really excited about, but I can’t talk about them yet. But I mean, ultimately, as a young British lad who loves cinema, I’d love to be James Bond.”
“So, you know, I’m just putting that out there. I look pretty good in a suit,” he quipped.
Tom Holland as James Bond, now that would be interesting!
