Many often say that Hollywood is a land without friendship but looking at Tom Holland and Zendaya’s buddy ship only serves to refute the myth. The duo has been working together since 2017’s Spider-man: Homecoming and have been the best of friends even as dating rumours about the two keep trying to prove that they are secretly in a relationship. And now, Holland is all ears for a Spider-man reunion on Zendaya’s hit HBO series, Euphoria.
The Spider-man-Euphoria team-up
Tom Holland, Zendaya, and their co-star Jacob Batalon have starred together in both the Spider-man films and are good friends offscreen as well. While they continue to meet up and have a blast even they are not shooting, Holland has made it apparent that he would love for him and Batalon to appear in Zendaya’s Euphoria. Recently, during a chat with Collider, the Cherry star was asked which TV series he would love to guest star on and his answer was his bestie’s celebrated series.
“What TV series we would love to guest star on? We were joking about this the other day. I’d love to be in Euphoria, but with Jacob Batalon. I’d love for us to just be in the background of one of Zendaya’s scenes, just because they’re two of my best friends and I would love to do anything with them, but also I love that show so it’d be nice to be a part of that,” Tom Holland shared.
Tom Holland digs WandaVision but he just couldn’t wait for the answers
Evidently, the interview was conducted when WandaVision was still running on Disney+ as Tom Holland shared how he has been itching to get the answers before they aired.
“I am obsessed with WandaVision. It’s so difficult because obviously I’m on a Marvel set at the moment. So all of the producers there, and I could just go up to Kevin Feige and be like, “so what happens? What’s going on?” So it’s really difficult for me to not ask the questions I want the answers to, but I’m loving it. And I think on honestly it’s for me, my favorite Marvel thing I’ve seen, because it really makes you think about “what am I watching? What’s going to happen? Where are they going to take this?”. I love that they brought back the idea of releasing an episode a week. I think it requires the caliber and the quality of the show to be better because you need to keep people engaged for a longer period of time. So I’m loving it.” he said.
But as we know, it is a running gag in Hollywood that Tom Holland can’t hold on to a secret and has spilled intricate plot details on more than one occasion. So, even if he had plucked up the courage to grill Feige about WandaVision answers, chances are that he would have faced disappointment.
