Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon added to that excitement by revealing the title of the upcoming installment in THE most fun way possible. You can read about it and watch the hilarious sketch presented by the trio here.

However, some of this excitement may be clouded with a few heartbreaks after Tom Holland’s Spider-Man contract expiry revelation. The 24-year-old star stated: “[Spider-Man 3] would be my last one [under contract] so I’ve always said to them if they want me back I’ll be there in a heartbeat. I’ve loved every minute of being a part of this amazing world. It’s changed my life for the better, I’m so lucky to be here. If they want me back I’ll be there, if they don’t I will walk off into the sunset a very, very happy person because it’s been an amazing journey.”

So, this news about Tom Holland’s Spider-Man contract ending is not actually the end of the road for the star as Peter Parker because he has assured that he will be present whenever the makers of the franchise need him. Tom Holland’s portrayal as the spidey teen has brought an immense amount of success for both the actor and the makers.

In another interview, when Holland was asked about his future plans after No Way Home, the star said: “I’m going to take a break and travel the world. It’s the first time since I signed on to (“Spider-Man: Homecoming”) that I don’t have a contract with someone. I might go skiing because that’s something I’ve not really been allowed to do because it’s obviously a dangerous sport. I’ve been very careful over the years, which is why I’ve become obsessed with golf because it’s the only sport I can play without getting injured.”

Even with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man contract ending, the actor is still overflowing with work and cinematic ventures, which is no surprise given his status as one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars. With Cherry, Tom Holland is all set, once again, to prove his mettle as an actor. His finesse and craft in the portrayal of a young Army medic managed to floor our very own ultimate queen Zendaya, who watched a screener of Cherry on the sets of Spider-Man.

Although, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man contract is expiring soon, but that does not mean there will be a dearth of new projects from the actor. In fact, on the contrary, the expiration of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man contract along with soon-to-be-released Cherry has given some sort of optimism to the actor who said: “But ‘Cherry’ was our big leap. I’m really interested to see the types of doors that it opens and the doors that it closes.”
