Vanessa Bryant Stands Up Against Meek Mill For Using Disrespectful Lyrics For Kobe Bryant

Meek’s disrespectful lyrics!

Vanessa Bryant posted an IG story to call out Meek Mill

Vanessa Bryant came forward against a controversial line that Meek Mill has used in his new unreleased song in which he has collaborated with Lil Baby. Meek sang “Yeah, and if I ever lack, I’m goin’ out with my chopper, it be another Kobe,” to which a lot of Kobe’s fans reacted and said that it seems to be disrespectful for the late Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

On this topic, Vanessa Bryant reacted and posted an IG story, she wrote “Dear @meekmill, I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period,” Vanessa Bryant wrote on her IG Stories on Monday night. “I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this. If you are a fan, fine, there’s a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact.”

However, Meek Mill also posted various tweets on Tuesday before Vanessa’s Instagram story and it is not clear yet if the tweets were pointing towards Vanessa Bryant or not. He wrote, “I’m going back savage in this shit…f#%k ya feelings!” He further wrote more tweets, “Ion trust people gotta play it raw,” “head taps for n#%ga tryna pull my card,” and “it becomes a trend to hate on me every once in a while but I feed off that shit ima beast literally.”

Many of Kobe’s fans felt disrespected and hurt after listening to the line sung by Meek Mill, and probably so does Kobe’s family. However, after some time of Vanessa’s IG story post, Meek Mill wrote on his Twitter account “I apologized to her in private earlier today, not to the public…Nothing I say on my page directed to a internet viral moment or the family of a grieving woman!”. He further wrote, “If you care about someone grieving change the subject!”
