The latest Bollywood sensation, the hunky Vicky Kaushal turned 32 today, but owing to the nationwide coronavirus-induced lockdown, a grand celebration of his birthday was out of the question and he instead spends the day with his family. But guess who made the Masaan actor’s day with a single b-day post? His rumored girlfriend Katrina Kaif, of course! And once again, it set alight the speculations of Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are low key dating.
From Alia Bhatt to Kiara Advani, Vicky Kaushal received many birthday wishes but it was Katrina Kaif and her special greeting to the actor that caught the attention of ardent fans of the duo. She penned a cool Uri style wish for her alleged beau, complete with a snippet of a very famous dialogue from the National Award-winning film.
Along with a gif of Vicky Kaushal’s character from URI: The Surgical Strike, which shows him blasting off in the air after saying his famous dialogue: “How is the josh?!” “May the josh always be high,” she wrote with a star emoticon as well as a simple a “Happy Birthday”.
The rumors of Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif dating sparked in October last year
They were seen exiting a friend’s Diwali bash, following which Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif being seen together became a usual sight. Every time the A-list actors are spotted together it sets the rumor mills churning, with the latest being when Katrina Kaif attended the special screening of the Vicky Kaushal starrer, Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship.
“There are no cons to dating. It’s a beautiful feeling,” Vicky Kaushal had shared back in February 2020. “I understand that the paps are doing their job. I also understand that people have an interest in our personal lives, by the virtue of us being public figures. That’s fair. But it’s completely up to me if I wish to share. I am not comfortable opening up my personal life for discussion. It’s important to me that I guard the good things.”
But today, Vicky Kaushal is busy celebrating a “quiet” birthday with his family
“It’s going to be different this time because it’ll be a quiet one. It is going to be all about spending time with family. I’ll also be catching up with my friends over video calls,” he shared, adding that the lockdown had taught him the significance your family holds in your life.
He promised to himself that from now on, he will “spend ample time with them”, even when the lockdown is lifted and will ditch “blaming the fastpaced life for not being there with my family.”
