Why Is Chris Pratt Being Cancelled On Twitter Again With #RIPChrisPratt?

“Chris never tweeted the offensive things that are being circulated today.”

Chris Pratt’s Twitter has been trending with #RIPChrisPratt since Wednesday morning and people have no clue as to who started this. A lot of people started tweeting the hashtag, dissed and criticized the actor in many ways. All this occurred because of some racist tweets from a fake account that had impersonated the actor. Among the many many fake tweets there was only one real tweet from the actor.

The tweet dated back to October 2012, where the Guardians of the Galaxy actor posted a photo of a Bank of America pen with the label “Made in China” stamped on it. “I feel like somebody smarter than me could make a joke about this,” Pratt wrote.

His rep has denied any such racist tweets being posted by the actor from his Twitter account. He told TMZ, “Chris never tweeted the offensive things that are being circulated today. Any suggestion that he did is not only totally false but also defamatory.” His rep also cleared that the actor didn’t delete any older tweets.

Pratt denied the allegation by saying, “It has recently been suggested that I belong to a church which ‘hates a certain group of people’ and is ‘infamously anti-LGBTQ.’ Nothing could be further from the truth.” in an Instagram story.
