Ellen DeGeneres admitted on Jimmy Kimmel Live that she had multiple drinks before rushing her wife, Portia de Rossi, to the hospital. Ellen was a guest for the late-night program on Tuesday, 20 April. She confessed that she was intoxicated while driving Portia for an emergency appendectomy in March. She also said that she isn’t such a fan of the product but she had three weed drinks right before the incident.
“So, Chelsea Handler told me about these weed drinks, they’re called Cann, and they have CBD or [THC]—I don’t know what the good thing is,” she DeGeneres confessed. “I drank one, and I didn’t feel anything, so I drank three, and then I took two melatonin sleep pills. And I’m laying in bed, and I realize [Portia’s] not in bed.”
“She’s moaning. I get out of bed, and she’s on the ground on all fours, and I said, ‘You’re not OK.’ She goes, ‘I’m OK.’ I said, ‘No, unless you’re playing Twister by yourself, you’re not OK.’ So I rushed her to the emergency room,” Ellen DeGeneres continued on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
As shocked as we all are, Jimmy was also disturbed and asked her whether she drove her herself. To which the 63-year-old said, “I did. I mean, I kicked in, like my adrenaline, because I just had to rush her there. It’s probably not safe.” She added with a laugh, “I shouldn’t be saying any of this”. Her wife, Portia de Rossi, had the operation the next day and Ellen DeGeneres told her fans that she was “feeling much better now”, on March 23.
Jimmy Kimmel Also Admits To Showing His Private Parts To George Clooney and Hugh Laurie
Ellen DeGeneres was on Jimmy Kimmel Live for the promotion of her HBO Max furniture show, Ellen’s Next Great Designer. After the intoxicated revelation, another segment caught the viewer’s eyes, where Jimmy admitted to showing his private parts to guests on air. The game consisted of them remembering strange things they have done as hosts on their shows. Ellen read the question from her card, “Did you ever surprise a guest—oh my god!—did you ever surprise a guest by showing him or her your p–is on air?”
“Yeah, I did do that,” Jimmy told her. “I did that to George Clooney and Hugh Laurie”. Remembering the incident the host also showed her the clip with the two actors. Well, we can surely say that it is not a good time for Ellen DeGeneres to be opening secrets on the famous Jimmy Kimmel live show. Her producers have been accused of s****l misconduct on the workplace. She was also alleged to be one of the meanest producers alive. During the COVID-19 2020 lockdown, her show and team members saw massive ups and down regarding various allegations. There was a point where her show was going to be called off the air.
Clearly, we can see that Jimmy entirely avoided the controversial topic concerning Ellen and rather focused on other aspects. He even asked her about her charity work. The Daily Beast reported this behavior as to how the host’s appearance shows how much celebrities “tend to give their celebrity friends cover when low-level staffers suffer abuse”.
