The former WWE Champion, Dwayne Johnson tweets about his upcoming series named “Young Rock”
The recent trailer of eleven episode sitcom “Young Rock” reveals that Dwayne Johnson will campaign for President of America in the year 2032.
In the same series, the wrestler turned actor narrates many stories about his childhood, the hardships he faced to become one of the best wrestlers in the world, and his experiences as a popular Hollywood actor.
Dwayne Johnson, who is the co-creator of “Young Rock” along with American Dad! writer Nahnatchka Khan recently tweeted about his upcoming series.
Darcy Garcia, Hiram Garcia, Brian Gerwitz, and Jennifer Carreras are the executive producers of the series. The new comedy series is co-produced by Universal Television, Seven Bucks Productions, and Khan’s Fierce Baby Productions.
Adrian Groulx portrays the role of 10-year-old Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Bradley Constant plays 15-year-old Dwayne, while Uli Latukefu plays 20-year-old Dwayne. The other cast includes- Stacey Leilua, who plays the role of Ata, Johnson’s mother, Joseph Lee Anderson portrays the role of Rocky Johnson, Dwayne Johnson’s late father. Ana Tuisila will be seen as Dwayne Johnson’s grandmother, Lia Maivia.
In one of his interviews with Good Morning America, Dwayne Johnson hinted at his future Presidential Run. He said, “This interesting ground swell that has happened on the idea of my being president one day has become a legit thing to some people.”
He added, “If it is a very real, overwhelming, positive, strong, ‘We want you to run for President,’ and if I felt that I can step up to the plate and become a tremendous leader of our country and make a real difference and make a change, I would do it.”
If this interview and the story about the Presidential campaign portrayed in Young Rock is to be believed, then one of the countries beloved celebrities would lead the country at the age of 59 in the year 2032.
