After last years’ virtually held award event, Emmy 2021 rolled out the red carpets for the winners of its 73rd edition held at L.A.’s Microsoft Theater. As expected, favorites like The Crown, Hacks, Ted Lasso, and Mare of Easttown snagged the limelight with the majority wins. While The Crown, the most-nominated drama series, brought Netflix Emmy wins in the Supporting categories for a drama series, Lead Actress, Lead Actor, as well as in writing and directing, HBO’s Mare of Easttown didn’t disappoint either as Kate Winslet took home the Lead Actress prize in the Limited Series category with Evan Peters and Julianne Nicholson reigning in the Supporting categories. Ted Lasso, which was also leading the nominations in the comedy category, won the Lead actor category along with Hannah Waddington and Brett Goldstein bringing trophies in the supporting actors’ category.
