A lot has been on Dancing With The Stars on Disney. It was time to say goodbye to two more celebrities this week – Matt James and Brian Austin Green.
In the fourth week of competition, Matt James and Brian Austin Green were both sent home during Tuesday’s double elimination following back-to-back nights of performances celebrating Disney heroes and villains.
Matt James cosplayed as Frozone from The Incredibles for Disney Heroes Night on Dancing With the Stars Season 30 on Oct. 11 — a character that fans had frequently compared him to when he handed out roses on Season 25 of The Bachelor.
And his partner Lindsay Arnold took onto the dance floor dressed as Edna Mode, the popular fashion designer who styled the world’s bravest superheroes in the 2004 animated movie and its 2018 sequel.
“I found my supersuit,” James wrote on Instagram.
As for Sharna Burgess and real-life boyfriend Brian Austin Green, they pulled off a stunning “Snow White” kiss scene.
For their performances, The Bachelor alum, 29, and pro partner Lindsay Arnold placed 12th with a combined score of 57 out of 80 for their routines inspired by The Incredibles and The Jungle Book.
Meanwhile, The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 48, and his pro partner, girlfriend Sharna Burgess, came in last place on the leaderboard after earning a combined total of 52 out of 80 for their dances honoring Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Pirates of the Caribbean.
The double-elimination came after Bling Empire star Christine Chiu and Cobra Kai actor Martin Kove exited Season 30 in previous weeks.
Upon Matt James’ elimination, fans expressed their thoughts about his time on the show.
“For the first time ever, I’m upset I won’t be seeing Matt James on my TV next week #DancingWiththeStars #DWTS” tweeted a fan. “Matt James on #DWTS was seriously such a joy to watch. The stud brought so much energy to the ballroom. 👏👏👏” added another. “MATT JAMES AND LINDSAY DESERVED TO STAY. Oh man…I’m super bummed. He had such a better week than Kenya and is far more entertaining to watch. Ugh. #DWTS” stated another.
While Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green had a great time on the DWTS, she wanted fans to know that it was not as easy as it might look.
Speaking to US Weekly on October 7 she said, “Honestly, it’s almost a disadvantage. We have this sensitivity when minding each other’s feelings. We want to make sure our relationship is good outside of it. That’s always going to be a priority for us.”
“People are expecting this intense chemistry all the time on the dance floor,” Burgess added of the couple’s DWTS efforts. And if it’s not there, then people are like, ‘They don’t have chemistry.’ Dance is so different. … We are doing our very best with it.”
