Joseph Baena, son of bodybuilding legend and action star Arnold Schwarzenegger, looks like the spitting image of his father in younger times in the new photo shared by actor and relator.
In an Instagram post, the 24-year-old shared a shirtless photo from the Honolulu set of the film Lava with his muscles greased up and put on full display. In a video he reshared, he flexed for the camera too. With the background consisting of trees, Joseph appeared to be standing in a forest.
“Excited to be filming the movie ‘Lava’ with the @bitflixnfts team!” Joseph captioned a Nov. 21 Instagram post. “Comment what you think is happening in this scene.”
Upon his request, fans took to the comments to share their thoughts and even joked that he’s starring in the latest installment of Predator, just like his dad.
“You mean Predator 7,” one fan wrote, while another commented, “Predator 2.0.” Another fan made a reference to his famous father’s line from the original Predator film, writing, “Get the choppa.”
Though there are no details available about the upcoming film titled “Lava” as yet, Joseph Baena seems to be gearing for a promising career in the movie business.
Earlier this year in May, the aspiring bodybuilder finished filming Bully High, in which he will be playing the role of the “school president.” According to IMDb, the movie is about a Muslim high school girl who gets bullied for wearing a hijab.
Joseph also said he’s walking his own path.
“I’m following my father’s footsteps because I’m doing my own thing,” he told the tabloid the Daily Mail. “I’m pursuing acting because I want to pursue acting. So really the pressure is just from myself.”
“I like to just focus on myself… There’s no time to focus on these distractions: What is everyone else saying about you? What’s everyone talking about you? There’s no time for that… I don’t really listen to too much of the things that are going on social media and such,” he added.
Joseph, who’s often seen with Arnold, including at the gym, added, “I put myself under a lot of pressure to be great, to not be lazy in a way. I want to succeed in whatever I do. I want to show myself that I’m putting 100 percent effort into everything.”
Apart from acting, Joseph Baena has his eyes set on another career goal: realtor. “Not your average realtor!” he wrote alongside a photo of himself standing outside a luxury home in May.
“Super excited to start a new career in residential real estate. Looking forward to growing and learning from my amazing team @aria_properties , but more so looking forward to putting you guys in a new home!” Baena also added that he is focusing on the real estate market in the West L.A. and Silicon Beach area of Los Angeles.
In October, Schwarzenegger took to Twitter to wish his son a happy 24th birthday, as well as success in his acting and real estate endeavors.
“Happy birthday Joseph! I am so proud of you and I love you! You are crushing it in the gym, in your real estate career, and in acting,” the former governor of California wrote alongside a photo collage of the pair. “I know this will be another fantastic year.”
