Bhoot: The Haunted Ship Trailer: A Desolate Ship And An Evil Spirit Docked On Mumbai’s Shores? Hello Nightmares!

“Blink at your own risk”

If you were basically swooning over Vicky Kaushal in URI: The Surgical Strike (who wasn’t?), then get ready to scream and match with his racing heartbeat in his upcoming Dharma Productions’ film, Bhoot: The Haunted Ship. To say it was scary and will, undoubtedly, give you nightmares tonight would be an understatement. *shudders*

The trailer of Bhoot: The Haunted Ship begins with a dead ship, Sea Bird, that has mysteriously landed up on the shores of Mumbai’s Juhu Beach one stormy night. Vicky Kaushal, in the role of Prithvi, a survey officer, is assigned to investigate the Sea Bird. So, one day, carrying nothing but a torch, he enters the ship in order to investigate it but he is unaware of the ghost of a young girl, crawling on all fours, behind him on the walls.

Soon, he is seen looking into the desolate ship’s past and finds out that it is haunted. But it is too late- whatever evil resides on the ship has latched on its next victim i.e., Prithvi. He lands in a hospital bed and desperately tells the doctors that there was not just a worker there on the ship but also a girl. There are glimpses of Bhumi Pednekar, who is presumably playing the part of his wife in Bhoot: The Haunted Ship, as glimpses of Prithvi, his wife, and children leading a happy life are shown but the doctors say he has started hallucinating- what is true and what is not will be a tough puzzle to solve.

Vicky Kaushal took to social media accounts and shared the trailer of with the caption: “Bhoot: The Haunted Ship – Official Trailer This February – move, turn & blink at your own risk! #BhootTrailer OUT NOW!”

At the trailer launch, Vicky Kaushal shared that the mere script of the film was enough to scare him and thus he was sure that it “will be quite an experience.”

In this debutante Bhanu Pratap Singh directorial while Vicky Kaushal has the majority of the screen time, he will also be joined by actors like Meher Vij and Ashutosh Rana. Planned to be a multi-part horror film franchise, Bhoot: The Haunted Ship has been produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shashank Khaitan, and Karan Johar. It is all set to hit the theatres on February 21, 2020.
