Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson are one of those couples have kept their relationship away from the public eye. But recently the Coldplay frontman surprised everyone as he professed his love for Johnson during the band’s London concert.
Chris Martin performed with his band on Tuesday, October 12, in celebration of their new album “My Universe” at Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London, United Kingdom. During their set, in the middle of performing from the stage, he made a rare public proclamation of love for his longtime girlfriend as she watched from the crowd at Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
In his sweet shoutout to Dakota, ahead of his performance on My Universe in collaboration with the group BTS, Chris said, “This is about my universe, and she’s here.”
The 32-year-old actress could be seen briefly holding her palms together in appreciation, and then she threw her arms into the air as she danced along to the bouncy tune.
While Dakota Johnson was present to cheer for her beau, Chris Martin too didn’t leave her lady love’s side on Wednesday at the London premiere of her film The Lost Daughter at The Royal Festival Hall.
The 50 Shades Of Grey star looked stunning as she walked the red carpet. She wore a champagne long-sleeved bejeweled dress by Gucci and stopped to sign autographs and pose for selfies with fans. Johnson accessorized with Messika jewelry and Gianvito Rossi shoes.
Chris, 44, was snapped all suited up with Dakota by his side. He donned a baseball cap and neon-laced trainers.
Based on Elena Ferrante’s 2006 novel, The Lost Daughter is a film about a woman’s beach vacation that takes a dark turn when she begins to confront the troubles of her past.
In The Lost Daughter, Dakota Johnson plays Nina, alongside Olivia Coleman, Peter Sarsgaard, Jessie Buckley, Paul Mescal, and Oliver Jackson-Cohen. The movie was directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal.
The two stars, who were first romantically linked in late 2017 and have been fueling rumours about their engagement.
Earlier this year, the couple moved into a modern cape cod-styled home in Malibu, California for a whopping USD 12.5 million.
