Dwayne Johnson Shares First Look At ‘Black Adam’ Costume Ahead Of DC FanDome

Dwayne Johnson is geared up and ready to go for his first solo DC film “Black Adam”

With Dwayne Johnson sharing the first look at the costume of his new super character ‘Black Adam’, the excitement for the DC FanDome virtual event is only picking up further. The 24-hour event is only hours away and the Hollywood’s star upcoming film “Black Adam” has its own panel!

On Friday evening, a day before the event, Dwayne Johnson took to his Instagram to share the first look, which may also arguably be one of the most comic accurate looks we’ve seen so far. Slated to be the arch-nemesis to the Shazam Family, ‘Black Adam’s costume is complete with the black outfit and gold lightning symbol.

“The hierarchy of power in the DC UNIVERSE is about to change,” Wrote Dwayne Johnson in the post. “Black Adam arrives tomorrow at #DCFanDome. Personally, I salute my Warner Bros and DC partners for creating this historic opportunity for fans to absorb our entire DC universe while we all continue to manage the challenges of COVID. Well done. The man in black is coming to crush them all.”

Prior to this, On November 14 last year, Dwayne Johnson first announced he was going to join the DC universe with this antihero character ‘Black Adam’ on Instagram with a concept art rendition of the character.

“I’m honored to join the iconic #DCUniverse and it’s a true pleasure to become Black Adam,” He wrote in the emotional caption. “Black Adam is blessed by magic with the powers equal to Superman, but the difference is he doesn’t toe the mark or walk the line. He’s a rebellious, one-of-a-kind superhero, who’ll always do what’s right for the people — but he does it his way. Truth and justice — the Black Adam way. This role is unlike any other I’ve ever played in my career and I’m grateful to the bone we’ll all go on this journey together.”

Currently, the only other recruitment for the movie, apart from Dwayne Johnson, seems to be Noah Centineo who will play ‘Atom Smasher’, however, we can expect that the panel might just reveal more about the upcoming film.

In addition to the FanDome panel of “Black Adam” with Dwayne Johnson, the release date of the film stands at December 22, 2021, after already being delayed due to the pandemic.
