Emma Stone Led Cruella de Vil’s First Look Stuns The Audience

Cruella is here!

Disney has recently revealed Cruella de Vil’s first look with the new poster of Cruella Movie for its live-action 101 Dalmations prequel.

The Twitter account of Cruella showcased the first promotional content for the movie, which has Emma Stone as the main lead.

Cruella de Vil’s first look has the poster in black and white has the actress appear in half blonde and half black hair.  She has heavy makeup over her eyes and dark lipstick to give the twisted villain’s best look. The name of the villain appears in blood-red color.

In the 1996 live-action remake, Glenn Close played the role of Cruella and now serves as the executive producer of this new movie. The upcoming film will revolve around the evil characters’ story and show the audience what caused Cruella to become a villain.

101 Dalmatians is an animated movie that Walt Disney Productions produced in 1961. It is based on the 1956 novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians, written by Dodie Smith.

Paul Walter Hauser joined the family of Cruella in 2019. He is well known for Tonya Harding’s biopic I, Tonya, and the drama named BlacKkKlansman. Paul Walter Hauser plays Horace’s role, who is known to be one of Cruella de Vil’s henchmen. 

According to sources, the movie will have a flavor of an 80’s punk vibe. Initially, Alex Timbers was supposed to helm the project. However, he walked out due to some scheduling issues. The producers of Cruella are Andrew Gunn, Marc Platt, and Kristin Burr.

Cruella was earlier announced in 2013. At that time, Emma Stone was not engaged as the main lead of this movie. The production house did not begin the process for another three years after the announcement and wrapped it in 2019. Earlier, the film was expected to be released during the 2020 holidays, but it was again delayed to 2021.

Craig Gilespie directs the upcoming movie and stars Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Emma Thompson, Emily Beecham, and Mark Strong. The film is set to be released on May 28. The first trailer of the film will be seen on Wednesday, February 17.
