It’s Official! Joey King Confirms ‘The Kissing Booth 3’ On Netflix In 2021

Should Elle go to Harvard or Berkeley?

It’s only been a couple of days since ‘The Kissing Booth 2’ left us at a cliff-hanger, and now the film cast have confirmed the release of its third instalment ‘The Kissing Booth 3’. It will make its debut on Netflix in 2021.

On Sunday, July 26, The Film’s official Instagram account posted a video of the cast announcing the release of ‘The Kissing Booth 3’. If you were left frustrated with the cliffhanger in part 2, you might not have to wait for that long to see where Elle finally decides to go- Harvard or Berkely?

In ‘The Kissing Booth 3’ teaser, Joel Courtney is texting and walking with Joey King beside him who exclaims “What are you doing?! You can’t send that!” when she sees what he’s doing. And as Elle would, she reaches out to grab it accidentally sending the message to the cast members who all react with super excited emojis.

The ‘Kissing Booth 3’ teaser ends with a “Yes, this is happening” after which Jacob Elordi shows up and says with a smile “What’d I miss?”

The cast of the film, including newcomers Taylor Zakhar Perez and Maisie Richardson-Sellers, also celebrated the news on a Youtube Livestream the same day. And it also had a sneak peek into ‘The Kissing Booth 3’, where Elle, Noah, Lee and Rachel are chilling by the pool. Elle even receives a call from Harvard which she declines and disappears into the house with Noah giving weak excuses to the other two who laugh at their expense.

In fact, the cast even revealed ‘The Kissing Booth 3’ had been filmed alongside part two and it had been kept extremely hush-hush so as to not give anything away. With fans of the franchise jumping in excitement at the news, the actors were also grateful for their support through the films.

“I want to thank the fans for their tremendous support… the explosion of love has been so real,” said Joey King in the live stream “It’s because of everyone on here that all of this has happened.”

‘The Kissing Booth’ had received a pretty disappointing rating of 17% by Rotten Tomatoes. Lucky for us, that didn’t stop Vince Marcello from continuing to direct it. The release date for the film is yet to be confirmed.
