“Jumanji: The Next Level” Thanksgiving: Kevin Hart, Upset Over Not Being Invited, Punches Fake Nick Jonas

Well, that escalated quickly

Drama and disruption- isn’t that the true essence of Thanksgiving day. While we may be all about ‘a happy family dinner’ and ‘the perfect turkey’, the Rock’s Thanksgiving dinner party with the fellow star cast of his upcoming film “Jumanji: The Next Level” got to experience the festival in its truest form when Kevin Hart gatecrashed the event, upset over the fact that he wasn’t invited. Hilarious chaos follows which included a fake Nick Jonas getting punched. Confused? Didn’t you get it yet? It was a promotional trick, a pretty funny one though!

So, as we know actor Kevin Hart had been away from the limelight for the past 11 weeks as he was recovering from a major back surgery following his car crash in Los Angeles. Picking on this real-life discrepancy, the “Jumanji” Thanksgiving party starts with Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan about to start with their festive dinner when Kevin Hart crashes their moment.

He is infuriated by the fact that the entire team of “Jumanji: The Next Level” was enjoying the Thanksgiving dinner and apparently he never got the invite in spite of starring in the film. Adding insult to injury, a cardboard cutout of Nick Jonas (the real one is currently touring with the Jonas Brothers) was also brought to the dinner by Jack. And as we said, hilarious, rib-tickling chaos begins with a funny banter between Hart and Johnson, which ended in Nick one solid punch.

Our favourite Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson took to Twitter to share the video with an adorable message for his “Jumanji” family: “From our dysfunctional JUMANJI family to yours. Ok, sure my text to @kevinhart4real got “stuck in my outbox” but at least I got him his favourite high chair. Love these guys to pieces. Double grace. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! JUMANJI: THE NEXT LEVEL In theatres DECEMBER 13th.”

Slated to release on December 13, 2019, “Jumanji: The Next Level” will pick off where its predecessor “Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle” left off. The gang is back and they must return to the scary jungle to rescue one of their own, bracing themselves for the unknown and risking to play the world’s most dangerous game ever!

The action-comedy-fantasy film will also be featuring an additional cast of Awkwafina, Danny DeVito, and Danny Glover.
