Netflix’s “The Devil All The Time” Poster Is Out; Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson & Bill Skarsgård Grace The Lineup

It’s one hell of an ensemble cast!

Netflix has finally dropped the official poster for the movie “The Devil All the Time” and oh boy! The film is sure boasting of one hell of an ensemble cast!

The Devil All the Time’s poster which unveils an impressive star-studded cast has the word ‘sinistrous’ written all over it! Tom Holland who bags the role as the movie’s protagonist has along with him Robert Pattinson, Bill Skarsgård, Mia Wasikowska, Harry Melling, Haley Bennett, and Pokey Lafarge also featuring in the movie’s lineup.

The Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson starrer period piece has been directed by Antonio Campos and produced by BAFTA Award winner Jake Gyllenhaal along with Randall Poster.

Shedding some light on the plot of the movie and the characters, Christine director Antonio Campos gave a very brief insight into “The Devil All the Time” saying’ “In Knockemstiff, Ohio and its neighboring backwoods, sinister characters — an unholy preacher (Robert Pattinson), twisted couple (Jason Clarke and Riley Keough), and crooked sheriff (Sebastian Stan) — converge around young Arvin Russell (Tom Holland) as he fights the evil forces that threaten him and his family.”

Holland who secured worldwide recognition with his portrayal of Peter Parker aka Spiderman in Marvel Cinematic Universe films has a very intense character in The Devil All the Time as can be seen in the poster. 

Pattinson who plays the role of an unholy preacher in the film seems to have long broken out of his characters Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter Franchise and that of Edward Cullen in the Twilight and all set to portray the gritty role in The Devil All the Time. The actor is also going to play the next Bruce Wayne in The Batman

As for Bill Skarsgård, the actor rose to fame with his portrayal of Pennywise the Dancing Clown in the supernatural horror films It and It Chapter Two.

The Devil All the Time is an adaptation of Donald Ray Pollock’s award-winning debut novel with the same name that was published in 2011. The plot of the gothic novel has the backdrop of post-World War II, follows contrasting characters in Southern Ohio and West Virginia, including a disturbed war veteran, a husband and wife who are serial killers, and a false preacher.

The feature film is believed to be a follow-up to 2017’s Christine. The trailer is assumed to be up for unveiling very soon. The film is scheduled for an exclusive Netflix release on 16th September.
