Robert Pattinson’s First Batman Look Is Here And So Is A New Batsuit!

A dark, dark Gotham!

It was Valentine’s day bonanza for Batman fans. Matt Reeves introduced fans in a small teaser to the newest incumbent to the Wayne Industries. The newest Batman, Robert Pattinson is all suited up and ready to start his journey on one of the most intense superhero franchises. What makes it more strenuous on him is that Batman fans are the most unforgiving and somehow have ended up with the most controversial people playing the role.

A dark, dark Gotham!

As if it needed any more darkness, Director Matt Reeves version of the Dark Knight is super eerie. We see Robert Pattinson in a dim light and as the teaser goes on; we see more of what can be said is a grave version of the superhero. The music produced by Michael Giacchino adds the final nail and gives us an insight into the thrilling and investigative aspect of this trilogy.

It’s the same tale all over again!

Remember, how almost nobody liked Ben Affleck for the role? Yeah, well the same can be said for Mr Twilight, Robert Pattinson. To his credit, he has done some really good movies since Twilight ended years ago, and has definitely come out of that shadow. But younger fans still fail to recognize him as a good actor and only remember him from the saga. (Don’t really blame them)

Maybe it is ‘Batman’, the character that is polarizing!

Come to think of it, anybody who dons the Batsuit immediately comes under a lot of scrutiny, arguably, even more than the James Bond series. So, this criticism shouldn’t bother Mr Pattinson, who has always been a pretty polarizing celebrity himself. Batman too is a really polarizing figure. A parallel is always drawn in the stories about many people considering him a vigilante. And thus, Robert seems like a pretty good choice at this point.

This is a Bat-verse in and of itself!

This Batman trilogy by the Warner Bros will not necessarily be part of the DC world. Although, we can hope that some characters from other movies can crossover, and we see an interesting ensemble too. Based on the animated series ‘Batman’, we’ll see Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, Paul Dano the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.

“The Batman” will be released on June 25, 2021. You are welcome.
