According to Marvel’s official synopsis, the titular hero recruits Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and his old friends Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) and Korg (Taika Waititi) to help him defeat Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale) who seeks to drive the godly race to extinction.

Together, the group embarks upon a tumultuous cosmic journey to solve the mystery of God Butcher’s vengeance and put a stop to his evil activities once and for all before it’s too late. The movie is set against the backdrop of 80’s America, therefore the perfect song choice or the Thor: Love and Thunder trailer had to be Guns and Roses’ “Sweet Child O’ Mine”.

From the trailer, it also seems like Thor and Jane may patch up their broken relationship. But he has been more focused on helping the fans make sense of the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline after the “Avengers: Endgame” time skip was made permanent.
