In stressful times of a lockdown due to COVID 19, social media and music are the two things that really keep us going. While we’ve been missing new film releases and fashion launches, to beat those blues down, Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar has just dropped a new track where we see him along with other big faces of the industry in a song full of hope.
Bollywood collaborates to make people smile
It is sweet when our beloved celebrities make these gestures, isn’t it? We’ve been flooded with news of the big donations that they’ve been making to help the needy and affected. And here is another big surprise that has certainly made our day!
In the video we see Akshay Kumar, Jackky Bhagnani, Kartik Aryan, Tiger Shroff, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon, Bhumi Pednekar, Rajkummar Rao, Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, Tapsee Pannu, Sidharth Malhotra, Rakul Preet Singh, Ananya Panday, RJ Malishka and Shikhar Dhawan killing it together! The track has been composed by the wonderful Vishal Mishra. Muskrayega India sure sounds like the much-needed anthem of hope in the middle of this mess brought upon us by coronavirus!
Work from home = Shoot from home
Lately, cinema has democratized itself by opening up to more natural and un-edited content. When Kudi Nu Nachne De released, Bollywood took its first big step towards making videos that are more rustic but close to masses in their vibe. Following the same trend, Muskurayega India, a song of hope amid the coronavirus outbreak, has videos that these celebrities have sent from their homes. The idea was conceptualized by Akshay Kumar and Jackky Bhagnani and it has certainly served its purpose, we have an ear wide smile! While releasing the track, Jackky wrote, “Phir se hogi sapno ki udaan!
Jo saath de de saara India, phir muskurayega India, phir jeet jayega India! Presenting a small tribute to the spirit of our country.”
Fight coronavirus with a smile!
The song was just another reminder for us to understand that we might be socially distancing ourselves but emotionally, we’re still together. It is important to not let yourself get overwhelmed by it and remember that till the time we are all in it together and are smiling, things will get better very soon!
