Ariana Grande’s New Album ‘Positions’ Is Out, Features Doja Cat, The Weeknd & More

It’s a good day for Arianators!

Fans around the world have been waiting for Ariana Grande’s new album ever since she teased it in a tweet. “I can’t wait to give you my album this month,” she wrote, sending everyone into a frenzy.

Well, the wait is over because Ariana Grande just dropped her sixth studio album Positions. It’s everything that we imagined it to be and more.

Besides having some classic Ariana Grande music marked by her impressive vocals, Positions also features other artists. The 14-track album includes collaborations with Doja Cat (Motive), The Weeknd (Off The Table) and Ty Dolla $ign (Safety Net).

“hellooo! can it be tomorrow night already please? love u so much i am so so grateful and excited. can’t stop cryin. hooooooooooo,” the 7 Rings singer posted on Instagram ahead of her album’s release.

Her half-brother, Frankie Grande, further made the wait unbearable as he teased the album in the comments. “Your greatest album to date. I am so unbelievably excited for the world to hear it,” he wrote.

Ariana Grande didn’t drop any singles, except for the title track, before the album came out.

Ari’s last album, Thank U, Next was a massive hit and broke many records. The title track as well as 7 Rings, both made it to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It will be interesting to see how Positions does in comparison.

Meanwhile, fans are loving Ariana Grande’s music video for Positions

The Thank U, Next singer released the music video for Positions last week and the timing couldn’t be any better.

The three-minute-long video clip shows Ariana Grande as the President of the United States. She is the embodiment of modern-day women, perfectly balancing their professional and personal lives. The video is all about women empowerment and strikes the right chord.

With Grande wearing peplum dresses, corsets, huge stud earrings, berets and rocking a beehive hairstyle, the video sees her channel 1960’s fashion. This was the time when the second wave of feminism arose.
