Drake just dropped another superhit track along with Lil Durk. Fans were anticipating its release after a few leaks from the various artists who feature in this video. This video is a part of Drake’s next album, which is called Certified Lover Boy. There are a bunch of other famous celebs featuring in the video. Before the release of Dark Lane Video Tapes, Drake had announced the arrival of this album late in summer 2020. This album is going to be the next proper studio album of drake after LP Scorpion which was released in 2018.
Drake earlier stated to Billboard saying he has been working on an album and he has been working on it for quite some time. A picture of Drake and Lil Durk was up on the Toronto-born rapper’s feed early morning on 14th August informing about the release of the video and that it was a part of the album Certified Lover Boy. In the past, we have seen Drake collaborating with other artists such as DJ Khaled for GREECE and POPSTAR, Popcaan for ALL I NEED and TWIST & TURN, and lastly, Headie One for Only You Freestyle. The hype for the new album is increasing due to multiple reasons visible in the new video.

Laugh Now Cry Later features a number of popular faces. Drake is seen playing basketball with Kevin Durant, football with Odell Beckham Jr., and gets tackled by Marshawn Lynch. Before releasing the video, Drake had dropped a tease or for the audience on his Instagram. He shared a cinematic shot of him on a jet-ski.
Drake and Lil Durk Signing a Deal With Nike?
The entire video is shot at Nike HQ in Maybach where Drake is spotted wearing an unreleased pair of sneakers. Drake signed a deal with Nike’s Jordan brand back in 2013 but nothing straight with the company. The fact that the entire video was shot in Nike’s headquarters is brewing stories of new collaborations such as a separate Drake Sneakers section have surfaced. One of the sources of Complex has revealed that an Air Force 1 made in collaboration with his OVO brand will release in early 2021. Hence, as of now, Drake and Lil Durk haven’t signed any deals with Nike.
