Earlier this week, Marshmello took to Twitter to tease his fans about some new music coming their way. Without much wait, he finally revealed that it would be titled, “Leave Before You Love Me”—and it’s with none other than the coolest siblings in the music industry, the Jonas Brothers.
Surely, a new song announcement wasn’t enough when they also revealed “Leave Before You Love Me” will also be making its television debut this weekend, just two days after its release. On Sunday, the Disney stars-turned pop group would be taking over the Billboard stage for a closing performance, featuring many of their classics as well as a guest appearance from Marshmello to perform their new collab.
This means, Nick Jonas will not only be hosting the BBMAs, but he will also be joining his brothers and Marshmello for a performance of “Leave Before You Love Me.”
On Thursday, Joe Jonas revealed the Jonas Brothers and Marshmello would be joining the slew of performances at the Billboard Music Awards 2021. Taking to Instagram, he added to the thrill by sharing a video clip of the band with Marshmello.
“We’re crashing the @BBMAs party this Sunday with @marshmellomusic! Can’t wait to perform #LeaveBeforeYouLoveMe and some other songs too,” Joe captioned the Instagram post. Sophie Turner joined in to give a shout out to the new single by sharing the post to her story. She also expressed about how she is obsessed with the new song. And now, we cannot wait anymore.
With so much happening on the BBMas night, the announcement has pushed us to the end of our seats.
The Jonas Brothers and Marshemello will be joining many other anticipated performances at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards. Seven-time BBMA winners Twenty One Pilots will be hitting the stage for a performance of their new single, “Shy Away.” DJ Khaled, H.E.R., and Migos are joining forces for a world premiere performance of their latest single, “We Going Crazy.” Bad Bunny and Karol G are set to perform a medley of their latest hits. Bad Bunny is also up for seven awards this year, including Top Latin Artist.
K-Pop group BTS will give the world television debut of their English-language single, “Butter,” at the awards show remotely from Korea. Additionally, they could be taking home their fifth consecutive award in the top social category.
Other performers include The Weeknd and Pink. Drake will be receiving the Artist of the Decade Award at the awards show.
