Lizzo Shouts Out Chris Evans And Drake While Covering Erykah Badu’s ‘Tyrone’

Lizzo joked that she was pregnant with Chris Evans’ child.

Lizzo took the stage in Miami Saturday for a private performance for Art Basel, and the singer surprised fans by covering Erykah Badu’s “Tyrone” and switching up the lyrics to give a shoutout to Drake and Chris Evans.

Earlier this year, Lizzo joked that she was pregnant with Chris Evans’ child. Now she took to singing “Maybe I should call Chris Evans / So Captain America can put another bun up in my oven,” addressing rumors that she was pregnant with the actor’s baby.

She then gave a shout-out to another one of her crushes, Drake, with some explicit lyrics. “Or maybe I should call back Drake? So he can cry in the p***y, dive in the p***y,” she sang.

The annual event, which was canceled last year during the pandemic, is an extension of the prestigious art show in Switzerland. Several celebrities flocked to the highly-anticipated art fair to commemorate its return.

Lizzo hit the stage in a show-stopping outfit.

The songstress wore a white leotard that was adorned with sequins at the sides. The bodysuit was complete with an airbrushed graphic emblazoned with “The Body.” She completed her look with a diamond choker, stud earrings, and a fresh set of glittery acrylic nails. For footwear, Lizzo wore a pair of white chunky Prada combat boots.

Lizzo has covered “Tyrone” before, most recently at her September “comeback” concert in her home state of Minnesota. The Miami show on Saturday marked only the second time Lizzo has performed a full show since the pandemic began, and the singer repeatedly expressed her excitement to be back on stage. “This has been one of the craziest years I’ve ever witnessed, and to be present in my body right now and to be able to do this for you right now is a blessing and I’m so grateful,” she said, before launching into a cover of Chaka Khan’s “I’m Every Woman.”

Lizzo opened the show with her Cardi B collab, “Rumors,” and the setlist also included some of the singer’s most popular hits, like “Good As Hell,” “Truth Hurts” and “Cuz I Love You,” along with fan favorites like “Boys” and “Water Me.”
