Pregnant Rihanna’s sartorial approach is one that it is making even the not-so-into-fashion folks singing praises for the Fenty mogul. Nothing has looked more fun than spotting Riri in her impeccable maternity style recently.
Rihanna made a sweet reference to her man, A$AP Rocky, while out on a pregnant date Friday, wearing a shirt showing Mickey and Minnie Mouse with the writing, “Who dat is? That’s jus my baby daddy.” The slogan, a direct reference to the 1997 hit “My Baby Daddy” by B-Rock and the Bizz, highlighted across the tee was perfectly accessorized with RiRi’s oversized dollar sign gold necklace.
The mom-to-be paired the look with baggy jeans and sneakers with a beige, gray, and red colorway, also wearing an AWGE white-and-green trucker hat — as did A$AP. The couple held hands while making their way into the popular restaurant Craig’s on Friday afternoon (April 1) in West Hollywood, Calif.
But this is not the only outfit that Rihanna has made heads turn with during her pregnancy.
RiRi and A$AP stepped out on Thursday to visit celeb hotspot Gigi’s, this time giving a more dressed-up vibe. The 34-year-old singer sported a stunning black outfit that featured a plunging front v-neck to show off her cleavage. She showed off her growing pregnant belly with the fitted look, pairing it with a simple sparkling necklace and chic heels.
Rihanna’s pregnancy announcement photo shoot with baby daddy A$AP Rocky is also one that has been itched in our memory. The way the global sensation rocked her vintage hot pink Chanel puffer coat stole the show all the way.
In another appearance in Los Angeles in February, Rihanna again upped the ante in a black Jean Paul Gaultier cardigan that laced up over her bump, pairing it with stirrup leggings, a Carhartt jacket, Balenciaga shades, and Jimmy Choo pumps.
“[Pregnancy’s] a long nine to 10 months. You have to enjoy it,” Rihanna told Entertainment Tonight. “Fashion is one of my favorite things, so, you know, we’re defying what it even means to be pregnant and maternal. It can get uncomfortable at times and so you can dress the part and pretend. “It’s all an exciting journey so far. I’m just taking it as it comes every week. There’s always something new and I’m just taking it and I’m enjoying it,” she added of her pregnancy.
Despite not being nominated for an Oscar or in attendance this year, the billionaire made her way over to the biggest event in Tinseltown wearing a turtleneck Valentino gown with a black sheer, bandeau-baring top and a sequined skirt, Beneath the voluminous organza sleeves, Rihanna wore bedazzled black opera gloves that peeked through the mesh fabric. The singer accessorized with black-and-white statement earrings and white sneakers.
