Regé-Jean Page’s Return To Netflix Is Over, Find Out The New Role He Has Undertaken

Fans are loving it!

If you’re sad about Duke of Hastings Regé-Jean Page not returning to the screens of Bridgerton, you have a reason to rejoice as he is returning back on Netflix doing a voice narration on the new documentary ‘Surviving Paradise: A Family Tale’ and fans are loving it.

In his deep and soothing voice, which has swooned the audience previously, Regé-Jean Page is here to educate us about the state of the climate, and how to preserve the climate on Netflix.

The documentary explores the Okavango Delta, a vast oasis in the Kalahari Desert that is home to one of Africa’s greatest concentrations of wildlife. In this wildlife documentary, lions, wolves, elephants, and more animals thrive in this refuge, but a worsening dry season threatens their futures. The desert leaves packs and herds to rely on the power of family to survive.

The 90 minutes documentary is streaming on Netflix from March 3rd, 2022 and fans can’t stop singing praises about the Bridgerton star.

“He could read a recipe and still sound wonderful. Love his voice. I’ll miss him on Bridgerton” someone said. “Seriously the best narration ever. He has such a calming voice” other user said. “I’d listen to him read directions for putting an IKEA bedframe together. Such a great voice” someone joked. “Incredible voice and so proud of Netflix making these great choices!”

The second season of Netflix’s hit Regency-era drama will be premiering on March 25.

According to showrunner Shonda Rhimes,  Regé-Jean Page declined her invite to return.

“Rightfully, he said, ‘I signed up to do this one lovely story, this closed-ended storyline. I’m good!'” Shonda recalled in a November interview with Variety. “And I don’t blame him for that. I think that he was really smart to leave the perfection as the perfection.”

While Regé-Jean may not be returning to Bridgerton, his Netflix projects continue. The Emmy-nominated actor will appear alongside Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans in the upcoming thriller The Gray Man, set to premiere on the streaming service later this summer.

The Gray Man will be an adaptation of Mark Greaney’s The Gray Man series of books (2009) about a freelance assassin and former CIA operative named Court Gentry who is known as a “legend in the covert realm.” The script for The Gray Man has been written by Joe Russo, who will be directing and producing the film (via their production house, AGBO) with his brother Anthony Russo.
