Doctor Who Casts Game Of Thrones Star Jacob Anderson

Trailer for new season is released !!

Doctor Who Comic-Con@Home panel announced on June 25 that Doctor who has casted Game of Thrones star Jacob Anderson in the upcoming season 13. The star played Gray Worm in Game of Thrones. The TV critic, Melanie McFarland confirmed that by the end of this year, the new season of Doctor Who will premiere on BBC America.

In Doctor Who Comic-con, the trailer teaser of the upcoming season 13 of the show was released. The trailer features Jacob Anderson starring as Vinder, a space rebel with funky hair and a gun. Along with Jacob, John Bishop will also join the crew as Dan Lewis for season 13. Both the stars will be co-starring with Jodie Whittaker as Doctor, Mandip Gill as Yaz.

In the past, Game of Thrones actor Jacob Anderson worked with Whittaker and Chris Chibnall on the show Broadchurch.

During the panel, Chris Chibnall, the Television write, also revealed that this season will be different from the past seasons in many ways.

“The big thing that we’re going to be doing this year is, it’s all one story. So every episode is a chapter of a bigger story. So we’ve changed the shape of the series for this year,” Chibnall said during the Comic-con Panel.

Jacob’s earlier connection with the show

Speaking about his connection with the show Doctor Who Jacob Anderson said that “The Doctor has been a part of my life forever, from watching and rewatching the serials on VHS as a kid and being terrified, to unexpectedly finding my eyes watering when the Tenth Doctor said ‘I don’t want to go’, I always wanted to live in the Whoniverse.”

“Not only has a lifelong dream of mine now been fulfilled, but to be playing a character as fun, adventurous, and dynamic as Vinder is the cherry on top. This is very cool,” the Game of Thrones star added.

John Bishop gave spoilers about the character

Recently on The Graham Norton Show, John Bishop, who will be playing as Dan Lewis, confessed that he had a telephonic chat with BBC as he gave spoilers for the show by revealing that Dan comes from Liverpool.

“Then the BBC phoned me up and said: ‘You’ve broke the cardinal sin. You’ve told them something about Doctor Who…’ and I went, ‘I haven’t told them anything! Anybody who looks at me knows he’s from Liverpool, let’s be honest,'” he said.
