John Krasinski Reunites The Office Cast To Celebrate A Virtual Wedding

Crazy, right!?

When the world is doing all sorts of things online – from hosting house parties, having Easter prayers to organizing live concerts – why should matters of love stay any behind? John Krasinski in his weekly dose of positivity surprised the viewers with not just one, but two things: he got a couple married on a zoom call AND he reunited The Office cast to celebrate the union of the newlyweds. Crazy, right!?

“Love in the Time of Quarantine: John Krasinski officiates a wedding online!

“Through all these difficult times, through all the anxiety, through all the confusion, the one constant that we’ve seen is that one of life’s greatest clichés- love will conquer all is true!”, said John Krasinski while opening this segment. He went on to reveal that he, as an ordained minister, had just got a couple, Susan and John, wedded via video conferencing. The newly married had a deep connection to the TV series, ‘The Office.’ In fact, the proposal between them was a re-enactment of Jim’s proposal to Pam from the show.

The Office cast reunites to celebrate the love birds at a virtual afterparty

The first episode of Some Good News featured Steve Carell and from thereon, the show has been a powerhouse of positivity and fun. Since the new couple deserved a party, they were in for a big surprise. Their wedding’s afterparty was attended by many of  The Office cast including Steve Carell, Jenna Fischer, Ed Helms, Ellie Kemper, Mindy Kaling, Rainn Wilson, B.J. Novak. In fact, Jenna Fischer was the maid of honor for this wedding! They all danced to Chris Brown’s ‘Forever,’ just like how it happens on the show.

Along with The Office cast, some other known faces who also raised a glass to the couple were Angela Kinsey, Brian Baumgartner, Creed Bratton, Kate Flannery, Oscar Nunez and Phyllis Smith.

Zac Brown and Emma Stone make guest appearances on the SGN show!

How can there be a wedding without an emotional wedding song being dedicated to the couple? When John Krasinski organizes something, he makes sure it’s done right! He invited Zac Brown to play ‘The Man Who Loves You the Most’ for the love birds. With his tear-jerking music playing in the background and a photo of the duo flashing on the screen, our hearts were really full!

Oh, and the regular weather report segment was delivered by Emma Stone who said, “It looks pretty good.”

Woah, so Emma Stone, Zac Brown, Mindy Kaling, Jenna Fischer, Steve Carell- this was indeed a star-studded episode!
