The woman in the house is a thrilling dark comedy starring The Good Places’ producer, who plays the role of Anna stuck in a monotonous, boring life contrary to her voiceover role in the movie Frozen. The eight-episode Netflix series will see Kristen Bell as a protagonist who ‘’sits with her wine, staring out the window, watching life go by without her’’ as per the official description. An interesting turn off events follow when a ‘’handsome neighbour moves in across the street’’ but before sparks could fly ‘’she witnesses a gruesome murder..or did she?’’
The Bad Moms actress is also an executive producer along with Brittney Segal and Gloria Sanchez’s production house headed by Will ferrell and Jessica Elbaum. Gloria Sánchez has previously signed a multi-year first-look TV deal with Netflix earlier this year as the production company’s ‘Dead to Me’ had it’s second season streaming.
The Woman in the House is created by Rachel Ramras, Hugh Davidson, Larry Dorf who are also known for their comic TV series, ‘Nobodies’.
Famous for producing the supernatural drama series, ‘buffy the vampire slayer’, Marti Noxon is in charge of creative consultancy.
Bell has been quick to begin her preparations for the role as she shared a picture on Twitter and Instagram in which she’s seen sitting on her stairs, surrounded by books of the thriller genre. ‘’Some light character research for my new Netflix series, The Woman in the House, coming soon’’. The Twitter handle of Netflix then retweeted her post.

Dax Shepard, 45 and Kristen Bell, 40 married on 17th October 2013 and are doting parents to two daughters, Lincoln (7), and Delta (5). But somehow the date of their wedding anniversary always slips their mind.
In a hilarious post on Instagram by Bell, the couple celebrated their forgotten wedding anniversary on Sunday, a day after their actual anniversary.
‘’Well it’s that time of the year again. The anniversary of the day each year when we say to each other ‘wasn’t our anniversary last week at some point?’ caption of their adorable selfie read.
‘’I love you, @daxshepard and I always will’’ she added as a cute endnote.
The Good Place actress admitted on Instagram last year that her family reminded the couple of their ‘’5 year wedding anniversary’’. Later, she corrected herself and changed it to 6th anniversary in the comment section.
‘’I will never remember the date of our anniversary @daxshepard, and I know you won’t either. And that’s just one more thing I love about us’’ she wrote in the caption. How adorable!
