Sebastian Stan Was Spotted On The Set Of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier

It might take a while before the fans see The Falcon and The Winter Soldier

Sebastian Stan was seen donning the costume of Bucky Barnes (aka Winter Soldier) his character from his upcoming Marvel miniseries: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The 38-year old actor first played this iconic role in Captain America: The First Avenger in 2011.

Since Hollywood is reviving after six months of hiatus, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s production has also resumed. The stars started shooting on the final pieces in Atlanta, Georgia in mid- September. The series was set to be released last month this year but the production had to be stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will now release on disney+ in 2021.

In the recent pictures shared by Just Jared, Sebastian Stan was seen wearing a blue leather jacket featuring only one sleeve revealing his character’s high tech prosthetic arm/killing machine. Sebastian Stan, a Romanian American actor was also seen wearing a blue surgical mask ensuring all the safety measures

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is being directed by Kari Skogland written by Malcolm Spellman and Derek Kolstad features Anthony Mackie as the new Captain America, Sam Wilson/ Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/ The Winter Soldier, Daniel Bruhl as Baron Helmut Zemo, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter (Peggy’s daughter), Wyatt Russel in the role of John Walker (better known as troubled US Agent). The cast was also seen together in Captain America: Civil War. The six-episode series will also feature Adepero Oduye, Desmond Chiam, Miki Ishikawa, Noah Mills, and Carl Lumbly. Sam Wilson’s (aka Falcon) character will be revived in the miniseries.

In an interview with Variety, Anthony Mackie revealed, “We are shooting it exactly like a movie. Everybody who had worked on TV before was like, ‘I’ve never worked on a TV show like this.’ The way in which we were shooting, it feels exactly like we were shooting the movie cut up into the show. So instead of a two-hour movie, a six or eight -hour movie.”

An official synopsis for their miniseries reads:” Following the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” Sam Wilson/ Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes/ Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) team up in the global adventure that tests their abilities — and their patience–in Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.”
