Jokes apart, HBO max recently unveiled behind the scenes snippets from singer-songwriter Selena Gomez’s kitchen for her upcoming cooking show Selena+Chef that will be premiering on HBO max ton the 13th of August and fans are already in frenzy.
HBO max teased fans with the poster of the Selena Gomez cooking show captioning: ‘If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen, because this show is going to be ‘Fire emojis’ Selena + Chef is streaming August 13 on HBO Max @selenagomez
In the trailer for the show, the singer is seen taking on the challenge being the confident queen that she is. Fans are particularly excited for the Selena Gomez cooking show because the ‘Kill Em with Kindness’ singer presented the viewers with just the right amount of ‘Oh we have been there moments’ throughout the video.
In the snippet, she is seen cooking some mouth watering dishes; right from Hawaiian donuts to Cheese soufflé.
The fans got another glimpse of Selena Gomez’s kitchen after she posted her virtual lesson with chef Ludo Lefebvre titled ‘A little sneak of what I’m cookin’ up’.
The ‘Rare’ singer admitted that even though she really loves to eat but she may not be the best cook and this is an amazing opportunity to learn from the legends themselves. Selena has never hidden her love for food; she has even gone on record saying that if she were to choose an alternate career it would be being a Chef.
“Having some of the best chefs open up their kitchens to me was a humbling and fun experience. I definitely discovered I have a lot more to learn,” Gomez said further adding that she is really happy that they are being able to highlight and raise money for some incredible charitable organizations.
The singer at the virtual Television Critics Association panel said that she found the filming rather strange and recalled with zest that although there was no one in her house still the place was full of cameras.” “It was fun and something people should enjoy and be lighthearted and take an escape,” she said
According to executive producer Aaron Saidman, “there was something special about the fact that Selena was still kind of on her own, having to fumble her way through and figure things out, even though she had an expert professional helping her out.”
“Watching Selena with these incredible chefs has been a delicious joy,” added Sarah Aubrey, head of original content at HBO Max. “You don’t need to be an experienced chef yourself to enjoy the show; you learn with her and get to see all the fun that happens in the kitchen. Try not to watch it while hungry!”
The Selena Gomez cooking show would be featuring world-renowned chefs such as Ludo Lefebvre, Antonia Lofaso, Daniel Holzman, Nyesha Arrington, Candice Kumai, Jon & Vinny, Tanya Holland, Angelo Sosa, Nancy Silverton and Roy Choi with each installment highlighting a different food-related charity. Gomez is also executive producing the series with Eli Holzman and Aaron Saidman.
