Sophia Grace And Rosie Reunite With Ellen On The Ellen DeGeneres Show

They’re all grown up now!

Sophia Grace and Rosie maybe all have grown up now, but they haven’t forgotten their roots. The British child stars who went viral for their cover of Nicki Minaj’s “Super bass” made a return to The Ellen DeGeneres show to reunite with host Ellen. Back then she had brought the two kids to perform the cover at her show and even surprised them with a visit from Nicki Minaj herself!

On Thursday, the girls reunited with the 64-year-old host to talk about some of their favorite celebrity encounters as children. Rosie McClelland, who is now 15-years-old opened up about the time she met pop idol, Justin Bieber. When he kissed me on the cheek at the Kids’ Choice Awards, obviously at that time I was like, ‘Ew, a boy, he’s kissing me on the cheek,’ ” said McClelland. “And now I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I’d let Justin Bieber kiss me on the cheek again,’ ” she added.

What adventures did Sophia Grace and Rosie have since appearing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show?

Sophia Grace Brownlee, who is 19 at the moment, talked about running into rapper Drake on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards. “Me and my dad have always been huge fans of Drake,” said Brownlee.  “I saw him just casually coming down the Grammy carpet when we were there, and I was like, ‘Drake, my dad loves you so much,’ and we had a chat with him and he ate some of our candy,” she added.

Sophia Grace and Rosie also reminisced about the time they got to hang out with Nicki Minaj at The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “When (the doors) opened, I literally looked in every single direction but the one that she was coming out of,” said Brownlee. “And then when I finally saw her, it was just chaos and it was great,” she added.

Both Sophia Grace and Rosie mentioned that they are pursuing a career in music and have also recently put out singles. They wrapped up this edition of The Ellen DeGeneres Show feature with a nostalgic rendition of their “Super Bass” cover, complete with pink sparkly wands.
