Taylor Swift continues to surprise her fans as she releases “You All Over Me”
Taylor Swift has just released her brand new track “You All Over Me (From The Vault),” on Friday, 26 March just as she promised her fans. The song is one of the six bonus tracks that were not included in Taylor’s album ‘Fearless’ due to some reasons. However, the 31-year-old singer has decided to add those six tracks in her re-recorded album Fearless (Taylor’s Version), which is all set to release on 9th April. The lyrics of “You All Over Me” portrays her journey through a painful breakup.
Taylor sings “God knows, too long, and wasted time/ Lost tears, swore that I’d get out of here/ But no amount of freedom gets you clean/ I still got you all over me.”
While making the announcement for the release of “You All Over Me (From The Vault)” featuring Maren Morris, Taylor Swift wrote on her Instagram “You All Over Me (feat. @marenmorris) (From The Vault) and Love Story (Taylor’s Version) – Elvira Remix are out now because in this house we dance and cry at the SAME TIME,” Her caption included one more news for her beloved fans which was the release of producer Elvira Anderfjärd’s new remix of “Love Story (Taylor’s Version).”
Before this big release, back on Wednesday, Taylor Swift made the announcement that she will be releasing “You All Over Me (From The Vault)” on Friday. She wrote, “One thing I’ve been loving about these From The Vault songs is that they’ve never been heard, so I can experiment, play, and even include some of my favourite artists. I’m really excited to have @MarenMorris singing background vocals on this song!!”
Taylor and the Big Machine Label
After Taylor’s big feud with Big Machine Label, who sold her first five albums to Scooter Braun, the Grammy winner decided to re-record all her songs from those five albums and even include some tracks that couldn’t make it to the albums the first time. The five albums included “Taylor Swift,” “Fearless,” “Speak Now”, “Red” and “1989”. Swift has already released the re-recorded version of the 2008 hit Love Story (Taylor’s version) last month and it was even a bigger hit than the original song.
The Swifties will also enjoy Maren Morris singing in the background with Taylor Swift in “You All Over Me (From The Vault)”. The song is co-written by Scooter Carusoe and produced by Aaron Dessner. Aaron even shared BTS of Swift recording a song on Thursday and wrote, “In addition to the work we did together on folklore and evermore, I recently had the pleasure of helping @taylorswift rediscover and reinterpret some of her past work,” he wrote on Instagram. “As always, it was an honor to be able to collaborate with her… I hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed making it!”
