Attention please, Harry Styles may have some secret exciting projects up his sleeve. As per reports, the 27-year-old Gucci model and “Watermelon Sugar High” singer registered a trademark with the UK’s official company register of his business as ‘wholesale of perfume and cosmetics’, in mid-May.
Following in the steps of several other celebrities turned beauty entrepreneurs, the singer-actor-fashion icon is breaking into the beauty industry soon. The multi-hyphenate star, who has served up some seriously fashionable looks in his lifetime, has reportedly filed a trademark for a beauty brand, named ‘PLEASED AS HOLDINGS LIMITED.’
On Friday, May 28, a fan account, @TheHarryNews, shared the news via Twitter.
“Harry is listed as a director under a new company, for perfume and cosmetics, as of May 25th. The company is named ‘PLEASED AS HOLDINGS LIMITED’ as of now,” they captioned a redacted screen shot of a trademark.
The documents reveal that Harry is named as a director of the business alongside colleague and former personal assistant Emma Spring. Harry Styles’ beauty brand might have a line of perfume, eyeliner, blush, and nail polish.
Harry Styles has never conformed to gender stereotypes. So turning to his manicures for inspo doesn’t come as a surprise. His nail polish is always on point featuring fashionable elements like bright hues and even stylish designs.
Styles’ relationship with nail polish dates back to 2016. He was spotted with glossy jet black nails at a party celebrating his AnOther Man magazine cover. Then 2019 Met Gala brought in his love for manicures. In 2020, Styles stuck with classic red and black manicures. But for the 2020 Brit Awards, he sported a lavender nail polish, suited for spring.
In honor of his second album release, Fine Line, Styles had his nails reflecting a few of his songs like “Watermelon Sugar,” “Cherry,” and “Sunflower, Vol. 6,” which he showcased during a Los Angeles performance.
While Harry Styles’ beauty brand may come out with its line of fragrances, this wouldn’t be his first venture into the world of fragrance. He is currently the face of Gucci’s Mémoire d’une Odeur. And previously, he was one of the five faces of One Direction’s Our Moment Eau De Parfum Spray.
Harry Styles has become a fashion icon in his own right. From his sartorial to cosmetic choices, the British star is on the style mood boards of fans, blurring gender boundaries.
Styles became a major talking point when he made history as the first man to grace the cover of Vogue solo—and he did so wearing a ruffled Gucci ballgown.
While we await the more details from Harry, fans have been losing their minds over the possibility of cosmetics line by their idol.
