Gwen Stefani’s dress was heavily criticized by the fashion police
Can you imagine an NBC Christmas Special without The Sweet Escape singer Gwen Stefani? That’s right, neither can we. Therefore, like every other year, Gwen Stefani performed for the NBC Special. She exuded Christmas vibes by performing her latest single “Here This Christmas” during the Christmas celebration at the Rockefeller center. NBC aired its ‘Christmas in the Rockefeller Center’ Special on Wednesday, December 2.
But this year something was different. Gwen Stefani received a lot of trolling on Twitter. And the reason behind it is not her performance but her dress. Gwen Stefani’s dress during the ‘ The Christmas In The Rockefeller Center’ Special caught everybody’s attention and not in a very good way.
She wore a red and white plaid co-ord set for her performance. She even wore a hat of the same pattern. A Twitter user trolled her by saying, “Why does #gwenstefani look like she’s going on a summer picnic? So confused. Cute, but not Christmas. #ChristmasInRockfellerCenter
Other user commented, “ The little bo peep “Christmas” dress is one of your worst looks..why???You think this looks good???? I don’t get it.”
But not all tweets were filled with hate. Some were even full of sarcasm. Like one user commented, “ Are there presents under that dress?! @gwenstefani you’re a Christmas treat!!# RockCenterXMAS.
